The World Wide Web is an inexhaustible treasure of information–some good, some bad–but certainly it is a tool that can be used by Christians to the glory of God. Toward that end, we have included some of our favorite web sites. We hope you find these useful and encouraging, and that in some way they might help you in your Christian walk.

Some of the sites below contain excellent content on, for example, the existence of God or the deity of Christ, but do not teach the truth on crucial matters such as baptism or salvation. Please consult these sites with the same discretion that you study any religious material, always remembering the Bible’s admonishment to “try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1).

Apologetics Press Located in Montgomery, Alabama. A significant amount of material is published from AP to oppose those who do not profess the Bible to be truth.

Screen It! Entertainment Review for Parents Excellent site reviewing movies and songs. A must-see for all who are concerned about keeping their children’s minds, and their own minds for that matter, pure in an impure world (Philippians 4:8).
Family Safe Media FSM markets the Profanity Filter (TV Guardian), an excellent device that connects to your TV, VCR, and DVD and filters about 95% of all profanity (including the Lord’s name in vain), and other similar products (i.e., edited movies).
American Family Association (AFA) Champion of family values. The site is filled with good information, but you’ll notice the influence of denominational beliefs.
American Family Online A subsidiary of AFA, this site offers an internet filter that prevents you and your children from accessing objectionable web content.

Bible Study

Christian Courier on the Web Quite possibly the best site for those interested in learning more about the Bible. The site is edited by Brother Wayne Jackson from Stockton, California, and contains many well-written sound articles regarding the Bible and Christianity, with new materical added almost daily. If you had to choose only one Bible study site, this would be the one.
TheBible.net This is a very extensive and resourceful site maintained by the brotherhood, with new articles featured every month. It also contains links to very helpful Bible research material.
Greek New Testament This is a direct link to the Greek New Testament offered by the above site.
Lemmons’ Aid Edited by David Lemmons from Marshall County, Kentucky. This site contains several good study articles.
Seeking the Lost A broadcast dedicated to the preaching ofthe eternal truth found in the Scriptures.Aneffort is made to give the viewer a “thus saith the Lord” for the things we preach and practice.

The “Executable Outlines” Series These are sermon and Bible study outlines by Mark A. Copeland. Many of these are excellent outlines, but his position against church cooperation, orphans’ homes, and other matters will sometimes become evident.
Biblical Studies Foundation Good source for in-depth studies. Denominational site
The John MacArthur Collection Transcripts of sermons by John MacArthur. Mr. MacArthur is a conservative and excellent exegete of scripture on many things, but allows his denominational bias to cloud his understanding of salvation, baptism, and other issues. Wade through the denominational flavor and you can discover some well-researched material.
